I wanted to take a minute to give you some feedback on our experience with Onestop and your customer service representative Juliet Apicella. First, I wanted to give you some impression of our company and our challenges, which might make you appreciate my comments better. We are a daily newspaper with a 24/7 operation. We run around the clock and print a newspaper 365 days a year. While you are opening your Christmas presents our employees are running our presses and getting your newspaper to your doorstep. Our computers and printers are running continuously and downtime is not an option and maintenance windows are few and far between.
I don't like problems and have little tolerance for things that cause them. My job can be a difficult one and I look for everything and anything that can make it easier.
I'm a seasoned IT director being in the technology field for 34 years. I have had dealing with every kind of supplier imaginable, from computers to long distance carriers. We buy every consumable imaginable. I can tell you from experience that your company and your representative are stand outs in the industry. I need you to know that I don't say this lightly. You have excellent competitive pricing, with solid products and what looks like a good business model, but your real difference is Juliet Apicella. We have several buyers here at the Herald. She knows them all by name. And if I mention Onestop and Juliet they instantly beam and start to tell me how awesome she is. Just today, one of our buyers was having extreme difficulty with a supplier and we had to terminate our relationship with them. We had received several defective items that we were having difficulty resolving. The buyer said, "I then called Juliet and she had the stuff here right away and it was a better price. She's awesome and even sent me M&Ms!". This is a direct quote. Marx and Cynthia, I rarely take the time to write to companies about when they do well, but you and your team deserve the highest praise. You make my life easier by minimizing my problems and quickly taking care of them when they do arise.
